Cutting Edge K9 Store will be open June 1, 2010 at 3151 Nationway, Suite K-9 in the Holiday Home Plaza. Names are being taken for Obedience, Rally, and Puppy Kindergarten classes starting in June.

My mission as the lead dog trainer at CEK9 is to help you and your dog achieve the best possible result with proper training and guidance. No matter the training method used to get there it will be focused and tailor made allowing both owner and canine a positive experience.

My vision is to give dogs and their families the reality of a focused approach giving your companion the ability to remain part of the family.

I provide a focused remote collar-training plan that is tailored specifically for you and your dogs training needs. In-home obedience: By coming to your home working with you and your dog I am able to help you with many different behaviors. Behaviors such as barking or bolting out of the door, modifying feeding rituals, teaching your dog how to relax, or any specific behavior your dog has that is undesirable for you and your family. This combination of obedience and behavior approach will help transform your dog into being a polite member of your family.

Pack management: This in-home approach is for the multi dog home. Much like the In-home obedience this training package is aimed at 2-4 dogs in the same home working on basic obedience and managing the pack to attain a harmonious environment for all.

Clicker training: This is a fun and challenging way to shape your dogs’ behavior in your home. By working on basic obedience commands using a clicker to shape a desired behavior you will have a lot of fun and see quick changes in your dog’s behavior.

Puppy socialization: Lots of great information and training tips to get your new puppy off to the right start. Giving you the foundation and direction for socializing your new puppy with other dogs, places, and events. A discount is available for puppies who continue their obedience training beyond this initial approach.
